Funeral Celebrant
I’m an accredited funeral celebrant with training from The Funeral Fix. I create funerals, celebrations of life, and memorial services that are rich in storytelling, and informed with reflection and healing. I work with you to bring the essence of your person into the ceremony – whether it be by decorating their coffin, a ritual they shared with you (like toasting their favourite cocktail), or including their favourite foods amongst the refreshments – together we will create a momentous and memorable send off.
Inclusions
1-2 meetings to get to know your family and your person
Write and perform a ceremony that honours your person
Work with you to select music and other important elements
Craft meaningful rituals e.g. a flower tribute or writing on the coffin
Assist in writing the eulogy (if required)
Creation of the order of service for design and print
Fee ~ $850

This partnership supports me in the logistics required to arrange and conduct a funeral; including transfers, registering the death with Births, Deaths & Marriages, access to a vast range of suppliers, mortuary care, and invoicing. Picaluna also chooses to donate 5% of our profit to your choice from one of our Picaluna Charity partners.
Picaluna operates differently to a traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ funeral home. Rather than use a retail structure, Picaluna charges families cost price for all funeral expenses + a 40% service fee.
By choosing Picaluna as your funeral provider, I become your first point of contact for everything funeral related which means you have a friend by your side the whole journey.
Inclusions
Coordination of all funeral aspects including transfer of the deceased and mortuary care
Legal paperwork supplied and lodged with Births, Deaths and Marriages
Booking for venue/chapel and catering for wake (if applicable)
Organising funeral details such as the coffin, flowers, and materials for ceremony rituals
Access to graphic designer for preparation of Order of Service booklets, photo slideshow tribute and other desired print materials e.g. postcards, photos, or stickers
Coordination of staff on the day
Comfort for your guests with complimentary tissues, water, and sign in sheets
Collection of ashes on your behalf as well as decantering into an urn of your choosing (if applicable)
Death Certificate delivered directly to you 2-3 weeks after date of funeral
